I'm finally catching up on getting photos posted. These are from our camping trip out East Fork on Everest's 9th Birthday.
We had a great time in spite of afternoon showers, family emergencies, our camping being raided by cattle, and a crazy lightning storm that finally ended our trip.
Eric taught the kids how to build a fire pit, we crossed the river in search of a waterfall that we never found, (but we did get to a very nice rock "beach" that we played at until we got rained out.) We built a wading pool and the kids were even brave enough to lay down in that freezing cold water! Eric even got to spend an afternoon fishing.
We had a great time and are looking forward to getting out again. Hopefully this time we will be a little better prepared... (Who knows maybe one of these days I'll even get my camper.)
