Happiness is:

• Waking up each morning to a hot cup of coffee and time with my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
• Being sore and achy from a job well done.
• Witnessing my children stand up for what they have been taught.
• Sharing the wonder of the world around me with the children God has blessed us with.
• Knowing each night when I go to bed, that everything rests in God's capable hands.
• Hearing the rooster crow in the morning.
• The immenseness of the starry sky... and knowing that each star not only has a name, but is know by name... by God.
• The steady drizzle of a soaking rain.
• The promise that God will use all things for good (Rom 8:28) even when there doesn't seem to be any possible way.
• Kissing my husband each morning when he leaves... and again when he comes home.
• Curling up one the bed each night and reading with my children.
• Knowing that someday this old world will pass away and I'll get to meet Jesus Christ face to face.
• Having my eyes opened to an amazing truth in God's word.
• Warm enough weather to wear flip flops.
• Pink toenail polish that is shared with my daughter.
• The first robin each spring.
• The wafting scent of lilacs.
• The colors of a sunset.
• Laughing with good friends until your face aches and your heart overflows!
• A sermon that God uses to break your heart.
• Knowing someone is praying for you.
• Seeing your prayers for someone else answered.
• My children saying please and thank you without being reminded.
• SALVATION!!! (This is where joy begins!)
• Whole body hugs from my 11 month old.
• Making a joyful noise.
• Knowing God has a purpose for you and job to be done.
• Waking up each morning know that God's mercies are new and going to bed each night knowing that you are saved and going to heaven!
• Leading someone to the Lord... and on that note...
